13 09 SR is the first brand of Serge Ruffieux, Italian-Swiss designer, former Dior artistic director and head of ready-to-wear studio, under the successive direction of John Galliano and Raf Simons. In 2017, he was appointed creative director of Carven. Since 2019, he is the creative director of a fashion brand based in Shanghai. He co-founded 13 09 SR with former Le Figaro head of fashion Emilie Faure in 2021.
Between engineered details and spontaneous ornements, 13 09 SR are accessories in motion. Rooted in a gesture that is both artisanal and industrial, these versatile objects embody a crossroad between fantasy and comfort. Flat, functional, fun. And eco-conscious. Hand-crafted in Europe, with a majority of deadstock fabrics and leathers.
