Challenge: To establish The RealReal as the leader in luxury fashion resale and the circular economy.

Solution
To identify and create partnerships for The RealReal with key industry players that address current affairs and tap into the fashion calendar, while also encouraging luxury brands to embrace reselling as a part of their strategy for growth.
Results
- Established online consignment store partnerships with Stella McCartney, Burberry and Gucci through creating brand introductions
- Demonstrated a value proposition that includes resale as the gateway to the next generation of luxury consumers, tapping into growing consumer interest in sustainability
- Created new avenues for upcycling by partnering with design-driven product and services platform, Atelier & Repairs, who specialises in circularity, and involving a collective of established designers such as Stella McCartney, A Cold Wall, Balenciaga, Dries Van Noten, Jacquemus, Simone Rocha, Ulla Johnson, and Maria Cornejo
- Created and led The RealReal sustainable fashion panels at their Los Angeles and New York City store locations, where Julie Gilhart led conversations with brands that included the likes of Stella McCartney, Bode, and Public School, among others.
- Raised the profile of Julie Wainwright and The RealReal, establishing relationships with Copenhagen Fashion Summit, BoF Voices, and the Parsons School of Design, among others
