FABRICATING NEW STRUCTURAL FORMULAS THROUGH EVOLVING ARCHIVES

Established in 2018 by Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) has articulated its vision by blurring boundaries between the norms of established design landscape: deconstructing and reassembling garments and objects in order to explore the new areas of human creativity.

POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) continues its progressive evolution with the launch of 7.0 collection. Under the theme of "POST-MORPHOSIS", the collection achieved striking alteration in form, function, and material from previous collections. Like an organ changes form during development, the elements of clothes entangle, bifurcate, and convert to envision the future of garments.

POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) continues its progressive evolution with the launch of 6.0 collection which explores the realm of form and function.

The 6.0 collection is the result of investigating a series of asymmetric forms, iterative shapes, and fluid silhouette with the expanded categories ranging from technical garments to leather items and women’s wear items. The pieces are elevated with high-end fabrics or custom fabrics specifically engineered for each garment to achieve the aesthetic and pragmatic uniqueness.

The AW22, 5.0 Collection represents diversity from fabric to gender. After continuous research on synthetic fabric, PAF reminiscences the traditional fabric, cotton. Expanding the spectrum consists of various fabrics, cotton,wool, recycled fabric, and more. Simultaneously stretching the area of design on genre and gender, with classic coat and the very first womenswear with skirt. With the finish of colorizing the whole collection with animated natural color.
