About Naadam
NAADAM was founded in 2013 by Matthew Scanlan and Diederik Rijsemus. The college friends traveled to remote parts of the Mongolian Gobi Desert, became friends with the local herders and saw first-hand how traditional cashmere traders and brokers drive up prices and take the profits. By cutting out these middlemen, they realized they could pay their herder friends more while selling premium-quality clothes for less.
NAADAM goes straight to the source of the world’s best cashmere, and works directly with herders to bring you high-quality, sustainable and unbelievably soft knitwear at prices that are fair for them — and for you.

Clean lines, graphic cuts and sculptural elements provide structure and purity for this minimalist look. The focus of this concept is bold minimalism combined with supercharged simplicity; where premium qualities and comfort-first textiles allow for easier transition between work and rest, and indoor and outdoor dressing. This concept is inspired by Lyubov Popova who described her paintings as “constructions” built with color and line.

SPRING 2022 LOOK BOOK
This season’s collection offers an antidote of upbeat silhouettes, vibrant vacation and lounge styles, and geometrics with a nostalgic look back to the 70s and 80s for proportions and styling. There are high contrasts between brights and pastels, slinky and bold shapes, feminine and masculine, and classic and statement pieces. Colors are used as a tool to energize while vintage references are mixed with streetwear vibes for a retro look through a modern lens.
