About Evisu
EVISU was founded in Osaka Japan in 1991 and is named after the Japanese God of prosperity Ebisu.
Initially only around 14 pairs of jeans a day were created, each one caringly hand-painted with the now-famous seagull logo. EVISU captured the imagination of the detail-obsessed Japanese fashion crowd and spurred a revival of interest in vintage denim.
Today EVISU has gained critical acclaim, as one of the ultimate denim must haves, is internationally known and embraced by both collectors and hipsters alike. Despite phenomenal success, EVISU’s mission to create the highest quality products has remained unchanged. This underlying value defines EVISU’s position as an icon in the history of denim wear.

For the Autumn/Winter 2022 collection, Evisu is presenting another novel takes on the luxurious wardrobe. On key graphic, AW22 features the Japanese Ebisu God and Koi fish, that recalls fishing is one of the favorite activities from the God where Evisu is named from. Exquisite craftsmanship like embroidery and mix printing effect has been applied to showcase the graphics. Also, denim fabrics in different textures are patched together, with corduroy fabric to create some workwear looks. Together with playful Icon and Japanese characters like Darumas, fortune cats and God head, Evisu is create another unique stylish collection in the Autumn/Winter.
