Cara Cara is a brand that combines the joyful spirit of being on holiday, with exuberant and versatile wardrobe pieces to wear year-round. That first exhale when you hit the open road. Summer 2022 Lookbook
Cara Cara's High Summer 22 collection invokes a classic American summer through themes discovered in vintage photos of our mothers and grandmothers. There was always an umbrella fringed beach, rainbow-sprinkled ice cream cones on a boardwalk, bold-colored steel frame lawn chairs and a cooler filled with slices of watermelon and beer. Those joyful pastimes and rites of summer that are undeniably American and feel timeless in photos of the women who inspire us. In our ninth collection, Cara Cara taps into the soul of the American summer and all the possibilities it holds through a new series of signature prints. Vintage botanical illustrations are layered over a gingham for the pitch perfect note at 4th of July fireworks. Graphic bandana prints paired with crisp white shirts and slim-skirted cut-out silhouettes steal the spotlight at a block party. Billowing eyelet sundresses flutter poolside next to elevated rompers and shorts in a toile print developed from a vintage tea towel. Stripes crisscross the collection in a new rainbow print and return in our popular paisley stripe and jacobean prints in juicy berry and mint tones. The journey continues in the waves with a vibrant aqua seashell placement print that sends us sailing toward new horizons.
