About 13 09 SR
13 09 SR is the first brand of Serge Ruffieux, Italian-Swiss designer, former Dior artistic director and head of ready-to-wear studio, under the successive direction of John Galliano and Raf Simons. In 2017, he was appointed creative director of Carven. Since 2019, he is the creative director of a fashion brand based in shanghai. Since 2021, he’s head of shoes at Emilio Pucci under the creative direction of Camille Miceli.
He co-founded 13 09 SR with L’Etiquette Femme co-editor-in-chief and former Le Figaro head of fashion Emilie Faure in 2021.
Between engineered details and spontaneous ornements, 13 09 SR are accessories in motion. Rooted in a gesture that is both artisanal and industrial, these versatile objects embody a crossroad between fantasy and comfort. Flat, functional, fun. And eco-conscious.

Still on the edge of day and night, fetish and anti-fetish, Serge Ruffieux continues to explore his very own world. He works on 13 09 SR codes - the Egg heel, ribbons and crystals, studs and leather harnesses, fringes and gomini. Everything is sexy and a little provocative, but never at the expense of comfort - each model remains flat. Light and bouncy.
Inspired by the seabed, the collection pictures an imaginary aquatic world with its vibrant, ever-changing hues - a palette of leathers embossed with python or croco scales, flashes of neon, coral, hologram reflections, caviar touch and grained skins reminding us of a fantasy creature living between water and Earth.
A new style, the STRAPSY, appears this season. A chunky and sparkly mule on a bouncy rubber sole. It’s all black. But the rhinestones can be rather crystal clear, or black.

AUTUMN / WINTER 2022 (SEASON 2) COLLECTION
The fall-winter 2022/2023 collection of 13 09 SR cultivates its original codes. Namely, the egg heel, found under the ballet flats and reminiscent of sneakers; the soft and comfortable rubber studded soles; the leather bangs; the hand-knotted upcycled fabric craft; the rhinestones. This season, 13 09 SR declines its Medusa and Puli loafers in a pink vitello leather, steel-colored lamé leather and a leopard pony. The Dinghy returns in a patent cognac leather. The Zodiac in shearling versions. Two new styles, the Tootsy and the Miky, have been added to the family of pointed ballet flat shoes, in patent leathers.
