Nensi Dojaka’s Spring 2023 is the most-viewed show on Vogue Runway – VOGUE BUSINESS

Newcomer Nensi Dojaka left a big impression this season and Bottega Veneta climbed the ranks, while mainstays Dior, Chanel and Balenciaga rounded out the top five.

There’s a new number one on Vogue Runway’s most-viewed shows list. Nensi Dojaka, the 2021 LVMH Prize-winning maker of lingerie-inflected fashion is out far, far ahead of the rest of the pack this season. She had an assist from celebrity model Emily Ratajkowski, who closed the show in an intricately engineered evening dress in cranberry pink chiffon, transparent enough for the boning and bra cups to peek through. The EmRata effect is real, but there is more at play here, I’d wager.

The young generation pay exceptionally close attention to the makers of their obsessions — social media helps with that — and they haven’t failed to notice or appreciate that Dojaka looks a lot like them. Albanian-born and based in London, Dojaka is still in her twenties, and she has the makings of a star. Much of fashion seemed to be following her lead this season, frankly sexual clothes are one of spring’s hottest themes.
