Taking over Selfridges’ famed holiday windows, Charles Jeffrey turns tinsel into the Loch Ness monster.

"Each window becomes a festive tableau, blending Scottish folklore with the magic of the season."

If there’s one London destination getting us excited for the holidays ahead, it’s Selfridges. Setting the standard for getting into the Christmas spirit, every year the famed retailer invites global creatives to create one-of-a-kind holiday window displays. This year’s theme, ‘More The Merrier!’, saw some of our favourite maximalist eccentrics collaborate to transform the storefront into a dazzling celebration of colour, texture, and imagination. Our favourite comes straight from the mind of designer Charles Jeffrey.

Bringing the world of Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY to Duke Street, the Scotsman crafted three windows inspired by the Loch Ness monster. The horror icon is reimagined as cartoonish and fantastical, glimmering in a dazzling array of tinsel that captures the essence of holiday cheer. Vibrant colours and playful textures dance across the displays, inviting onlookers to step into a whimsical interpretation of the legendary creature. Each window becomes a festive tableau, blending Scottish folklore with the magic of the season, proving that even the most enigmatic of monsters can embody the spirit of fun and celebration.
