Nº21 Reflects Nonchalant Glamour

Tue 3 Mar

At N21 FW26 show during Milano Fashion Week®, the runway began like an ending. Models stepped out in a finale lineup, a cinematic reversal that introduced the collection’s circularity from the start. As if elegance folded back onto itself.

For Alessandro Dell'Acqua, the feminine–masculine duality remains central. FW26 thrives in that space of empowered femininity, subversive yet sublime.

For Alessandro Dell'Acqua, the feminine–masculine duality remains central. FW26 thrives in that space of empowered femininity, subversive yet sublime. He calls it nonchalant glamour, elegant and designed for adult women.

Architectural tailoring moved with purpose, from practical fur-collared tweed coats to sharp, double-breasted silhouettes and gowns anchored with enveloping bows. Transparency and lace interrupted severity. Strength softened without losing authority. The palette sharpened the mood. Cinematic blacks and whites set a cool tone before flashes of lacquered red and metallic sheen disrupted the calm. Nudes warmed to gold, then washed in dusty blue.

Opening with the end becomes emblematic. For FW26, Dell'Acqua gestures toward an introspective search for newness within ourselves. A mirror to the self, liberating and profoundly human.
