Martine Rose Honours 200 Years of Clarks with a Bold New Collection
Tue 1 Apr

Marking Clarks’ 200th anniversary, Martine Rose unveils her third Coming Up Roses collection, blending the brand’s storied craftsmanship with her signature raw-edged detailing and mock crocodile textures. As Clarks’ first guest creative director, Rose continues to push design boundaries, reimagining three key silhouettes—the Derby, Heel, and Torview—each featuring exaggerated construction and contemporary details. The collection arrives in rich hues, including black, brown, and a striking bright blue, adding a bold, modern touch to Clarks’ heritage designs.
'The collection reaffirms Rose’s vision of fusing traditional craftsmanship with avant-garde aesthetics, proving that even after 200 years, Clarks continues to break new ground.'

Captured by photographer Mariana Maltoni, the SS25 campaign embraces a relaxed beachside aesthetic, featuring local beachgoers to highlight the carefree, colourful energy behind the collection. Launching exclusively on Martine Rose and Clarks’ web stores on 31 March, with a global release on April 1, the collection reaffirms Rose’s vision of fusing traditional craftsmanship with avant-garde aesthetics, proving that even after 200 years, Clarks continues to break new ground.
