A reference to COVID-19 and lockdown seems inescapable this season. Understandable, as it's not often the whole world is gripped with the same fear or feeling. Like many, Tom Ford had been seeking optimism during this time, using his designs to bring hope and spark joy.

Arguably, there is no better on the New York schedule to spread this feeling than Tom Ford, who at the best of times, is known for energetic bright hues, striking cuts and bold prints. This season, that had been turned up to 11 as Ford brought the party to the pandemic.

Dramatic dresses appeared as if dipped in vivid magenta, flowing sarongs in greens and pinks framed bold bikinis and tracksuits styled with quilted blazers encapsulated the comfortable luxe feel that permeated the collection. With a slim New York schedule this season, all eyes were on Tom Ford. Despite presenting just via digital imagery, Ford brought palpable energy with clothes that will make you feel good
