Artist Daniel Arsham to launch fashion brand with Tomorrow – VOGUE BUSINESS

Wed 22 Jun

Tomorrow, the London-based brand development platform known for nurturing hot next-generation brands, is teaming up with New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham to launch a new unisex fashion brand called Objects IV Life.

The brand is a “joint vision” between Arsham and Tomorrow’s CEO and co-founder Stefano Martinetto, and created with a “collector’s mindset” — pieces are designed for a lifetime of wear, rather than a season.

The debut collection, which launches exclusively at US streetwear brand Kith’s Paris flagship on 22 June, includes a denim jacket, four-pocket jacket, blazer, T-shirts and hoodies. There are three styles of jeans — wide leg, straight leg and baggy — in a range of colours including pale pink and powder blue. The collection also includes a canvas tote made from deadstock materials, steel-toed utility boots, cap and key charm.

Objects IV Life has been designed between New York and London, and made in Portugal and LA, with custom hardware coming from Italy.

From 11 July, the brand will be stocked by retailers including Kith in New York and Paris, Machine-A in London and Shanghai, Ssense, Selfridges, IT Hong Kong, Maxfield LA and Simple Caracters Mykonos.
